Dear Diary...

Yesterday, Amanda and I gave a family home evening lesson on journals. We got some info from the internet, got together some journals and scrapbooks, and created a slide show. It bugged me doing the show because it didn't have any animation which is to me a waste of a slide show but we were in a hurry. My slide shows always have TONS of animation. Anyway, so the lesson went really well and everyone learned some new stuff and everyone put gave some input during it which I really appreciated because it made the lesson more interesting and longer. After it was done, I got out my diary that I got for Christmas in first grade (2001). I stopped writing in it in 6th grade even though it had many pages left because it was falling apart and I already had three other journals that I was writing in. I started reading it out loud and it was really funny to read, everyone was laughing. I was an interesting kid. I'm just going to put some of the interesting and funny parts from my diary on here for your enjoyment. I will also include my exact spelling too :)

  • 3-30-02: "Hi today I wan't to tell you something ok. tommoro is Easter and I looket Every were and I did'ent see any toys, at all, for Easter. all I found was a pair of shoose for each of us. And thats all. Is'ent that wierd?"

Oh I love him so much."
  • 6-7-03: "Dear diary, Colten wrote a letter to me. I wrote to him back. I love him a lot. He finally gave me his phone number this is so cool having two boyfriends. Colten said He was going to come and visit me June 28th. I can not wait. And when he comes over we are going to play all day long. I can not wait. I am glad that he still comes to Utah. I love him a lot."
  • 11-3-03: "Dear Diary, Deven dumped me when we got on track. He is in Mrs. Brooksbys class. and I am in Mrs. Wellers. Today when we were playing at the new equipment then some body pulled down my pants and underware too! I was so inbarrased. I think Devin did it because he was laughing and running away from me. And by the way he likes Kayla now." *That was a very embarrasing day for me and I was very upset :( And I was playing with Kayla when it happened and I didn't think she was that pretty so I didn't get why he liked her instead of me.
  • 11-30-03: "Dear Diary, today is Sunday. I have a bad cough, Dad said I have to keep my mouth closed and to hold it. I can't hold all through church so now I am going to stay home with mom...."
  • 3-15-04: "Hey, I am feeling good today. I keep on having dreams about Devin and that he likes me, I don't know whether or not I should believe them or not. Well this started at the science fair. I told him his project was as pathetic as mine and he kind or a bit smiled at me and now I have been having these weird dreams."
  • 4-25-04: "I decided to quit on boys for now. I am 9 in a half. I'm not supposed to be looking for boys ribght now. I have to still go to school school and finish up one year in jr. high and finish up elementary schhol, at least...." *I didn't get very far with that. I had many "boyfriends" after that.
  • 8-22-04: "I don't really like Kiersten anymore.....GOLL KIERSTEN"
  • 3-24-05: "...We got Tootsie last month so now she's ours. Zippy and Tootsie love eachother (but not to make babies) a lot. Tootsie seems less vicious and more happier here...." *Zippy and Tootsie are guinea pigs and Zippy is Tootsie's father. They would always "cuddle" and Mom would get mad but me and my sisters would try to explain that father and daughter can't have babies together.
  • 7-26-05: "School was awesome! I have a great teacher, not annoyed by Devidork..."
  • 9-11-05: "...Man, you know Sept. 11, 2001? Maybe not, I was in 1st grade. Well......(*and here I explained about what happened) OK just thought I'd tell you. Sad. I hate school. CA was fun and I'm in level 4 gymnastics. Yes!"
And then all the rest of these I talk mainly about gymnastics and how I can improve and my scores and moving to Farmington. Anyway...that's my dear diary.

Youth Conference

This past week I went to Youth Conference with my ward. It was the same weekend as Stephanie's wedding. I had a really hard time deciding which one to go to. Should I go to Youth Conference which I've looked forward to for years, or to the wedding of a cousin who I've always looked up to? I was going to go to Stephanie's wedding until last Wednesday which was the day before Youth Conference. I was at Dairy Queen with my mom when she told me that I could go to YC if I wanted to so I texted Megan Anderson and packed that night.

The next day I met up at the church at 7:30 AM. Everyone sat around talking for a while before getting in cars to leave. I was put in a car with Karlie Boren who is Ashley's friend who's going to be a senior. The Kings drove us there (a couple with two kids, the oldest is Emma's age. They're a nice family). We met up about an hour out of Cedar City at a cheese factory to eat lunch. The people who had the trailer blew a tire so they were behind us. We got ice cream there and pet the horses. I was also really hyper. We then went on our way again. Next everyone stopped at a park in Cedar City. The boys played sports while the girls played Psychiatrist and took pictures on the slide and played on the swing. On the way up the mountain (which took an hour) a woman named Shantea (Idk how to spell it, it's pronounced Shawn-tay) got really sick so I switched cars with her because the truck and trailer made it more bumpy. We arrived at a cabin in Kolob and set up camp. Only a couple of the leaders slept in the cabin, the rest of us were in tents. My tent had to be moved after we set it up because it wasn't in view of the fire pit which was annoying. Finally everything was set up. The leaders made dinner for us while we started a fire. They got the fire to be really big so that it was really hot to be by. After dinner everyone was roasting marshmallows and popcorn but had to stand far away and shield their eyes because it was so hot. It rained a lot that night and I got discouraged because if it rained too much then we wouldn't be able to hike through the narrows in Zions National Park the next day because it would flood. I would feel even worse about missing the wedding if I didn't hike the narrows. I went into the tent to read for a while and then everyone played a game called "Four on a Couch" which I don't want to explain on here. We then played one that I think was originally "Big Budah" but they changed it to "Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John" where you slap and clap and call on people and all the fun stuff. I was Mark for a really long time. After that we all watched "The Incredibles" with a projector and sheet that they hung up and then we went to bed.

The next day my allergies were really bugging me so I woke up early. I was one of the first people awake which has never happened before while camping with my ward. We had breakfast and it rained lightly for about ten minutes. We then packed lunches and changed into swim suits. I had Karlie, Rainee, Ryan Davis, and Matt Wilcox in the King's car with me and we played psychiatrist on the way there. Everyone got out at the visitor's center at Zion's National Park and that was around the time when everyone found out that Michael Jackson died. It's pretty sad but I'm not shocked like some of them. Thriller was pretty cool and he was a cute guy when he was younger, but otherwise he's not my type. I'm sad he died though because death is a bad thing. So anyway, we got on a tour bus to go up to the narrows. When we arrived there, we walked about a mile before getting there. We started hiking through to narrows which was pretty cool because there were huge cliffs on either side of us and we were hiking through water which felt good. I kept on slipping and getting stuck so I was one of the slowest girls and had to have a lot of the leaders help me at first. We stopped about a mile into it and ate lunch and swam in a deeper part of the stream for a while. I hiked there mainly with my leader who is Heather Lieber's mom. She graciously took pictures of me and didn't mind that I am really slow. On the way back, I hiked with Mitch Davis (Ryan's older brother). I hope he didn't mind that I was slow. He was nice and we talked the whole time and it was simply spiffing. We got wet because for part of the hike the water got pretty deep. That hike took about 5 hours I think, but it was really fun and pretty. Unfortunately, my (Ashley's) shoes ripped up my heels so they were bleeding a bit. Thankfully, Mom had bought me some cool hellokitty bandaids which I took with and used. I gave some out to another girl in need and some guys who thought they were awesome. On the way back to camp, me and Ryan fell asleep. We were so tired.

A lot of people back at camp wanted to shower but I decided not to because I was going home the next day anyway and everyone else smelled bad too and there was a line. We had a delicious dinner and I had seconds and didn't even care if people thought I was a pig because it was GOOD! Other people had seconds too though. We later gathered around the fire and had a fireside which was delightfully enlightening. We then watched a slide show of the pictures that my leader, Andrea Paul, took. The pictures were awesome and Matt Wilcox told me I look like a model in them =D =D Everyone then got glow sticks and we were going to play capture the flag, but not a lot of people wanted to play. I just hung around the fire for a while. Eventually guys started throwing their glow sticks in the fire to see what would happen. Someone threw in a big fat one. It started bubbling then it exploded and the glowey green liquid sprayed out. Everyone freaked out and ducked because we were afraid it would be hot, but it wasn't. I got some on my (mom's) jacket and someone got it on their face.

The next day I was one of the last people to wake up. My hair was a huge mess so some people were making fun of me when I came out of my tent. I was so tired. We packed up and left and got home around 4 PM. I showered and then went to Marjorie's house to visit and see pictures of Stephanie's wedding and ate the extra food and candy. It was wonderful.

I'm so glad I went to Youth Conference, it was so fun.

Cleaning at Work with Family During a Wedding at Youth Conference

Good evening dear reader. I have some interesting things to type that are so exciting that I don't know what to do with myself. So....yeah (I think it's funny how people end their speeches or presentations or whatever they're doing at school with "so...yeah" :])

Mom has been doing spring cleaning all last week. I came home from work and then was immediately told to start cleaning :( It wasn't too fun but it wasn't like it was hard work and the house looked nice when we were done.

Anyway, work this past week has been a blast...sort of. Last Thursday, my game was #1 on the park, and on Friday my game was #2. On Saturday I did a game called "Hot Shot". I personally think it's dumb and a waste of money, and that's probably why not very many people played. You just pull back a pulley thing and let it go over and over again, and then this ball thing will fly up into a box that makes your penguin walk, run, or sprint. The first person who gets their penguin to the finish line first wins. There's no fun or skill required, it was dumb. And I had people tell me that. To make the day more enjoyable, it was raining the whole entire day. On Monday, I worked at a game called Drown the Clown where you squirt water into a clown's mouth and as you do that this balloon on your clown's head fills with air and whosever balloon pops first wins. It's a pretty fun game to work even though it gets really messy and I have to put on new balloons a lot. My relief operator (the person who works my game while I take a break) was really annoying me. I told her that we need to have at least three players to start a game but she kept on doing two player games which was so annoying and made me get even farther behind in covering. She also gave out wrong change so I had an odd number when I got back (it's $2 per person, so the amount of money is supposed to be an even number). I really don't like relief operators. However, I did get my blue star that day. That's what each employee gets if they get five goods or are doing really well. The next one I can get is a red star, and then I can be and All Star. I'm pretty proud of myself. The next day I worked Day at the Races. I made a ton of money for my game and my relief operator didn't screw up. It was a really good day. I was going to have to work on Friday, but I got someone to do it instead because that is Stephanie's wedding.

Bonnie, Suzie, and their kids came out on Saturday and are staying at our house. I was kicked out of my room to let Bonnie in so I took refuge in the family room until the girls came and kicked me out of there too. I'm now in the living room. It's been pretty fun having company. Ashley and Amanda had to babysit all of the kids and were going crazy when I got home from work. Let's see...there's Hannah, Chelsie (sometimes), Caitlin, Breann, Alyssa, Noah, Emma, and Dani (a friend of Caitlin's). Ages 3-11. Fun fun. Oh, we have Porthos too. He's been chasing the cats a lot. Charlie is really fast and smart so she runs away and then hides from him. Sylvester just fights back. His hair was standing up and he was hissing and then he swiped Porthos with his claws. I thought it was funny. It wasn't as bad as Misty though. Porthos got near her kittens when we dog sat him about a year ago and she pounced on him and attacked. What a good mother. I miss her.

My ward's Youth Conference is going on Thursday (tomorrow) to Saturday. I couldn't go because Stephanie's wedding is right in the middle. I was so jealous of everyone, especially during young women's when they would explain what they're doing. So the first day, we'll get there and we're going to set up our tents and then play a bunch of really fun night games and roast marshmallows around a fire and tell stories! The next day, we're going to hike the narrows. It's mainly water and it's so beautiful there. It will probably be the most spiritual and beautiful thing you ever do and it's so amazing. You'll love it! That was torture. Well today, Mom told me I could go if I want. I didn't know what to do because it will be really fun and I've wanted to go for years, ever since Mom went with our old ward's youth conference and did "The Amazing Race", but Stephanie's getting married and I've always looked up to her and want to go to her wedding. I texted Megan Anderson (girl in my ward) and asked what I need to do so she told me I can still go and I had Dad run over and get the packing list and permission slip. So I am now going to Youth Conference and EXCITED!! I feel bad about missing the wedding, but either way I'll be missing out on something.

So right now the kids are fighting and playing right now while Dad is teaching Caitlin how to play the guitar. I was playing in my bedroom earlier and she heard and now wants to play. And now I hear another kid crying. Better go see what's up.

Working while Roasting Marshmallows in the Rain with Matthew

Right now in Utah it is raining. Half an hour ago it was raining super hard with thunder and lightning which was AWESOME! Yet earlier today and yesterday it was nice and sunny.

It was raining while I was working on Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday it was nice because then people would run for cover underneath my game so I had some people to talk to. A lot of people were there because they thought that no one would be there. The lines were still nice and short however. I had a fun time working that day surprisingly even though it was raining. The next day I was ten minutes late because I forgot my I.D. card. Oops. My game was one in Pioneer Village which is away from the main park and it was right by Rattle Snake Rapids (a ride where you go in a raft and get really wet). It was pretty deserted there for a while and it was just a merchandise person and me there. I couldn't get my game to work and re-read my job aid five times to see if I was doing something wrong but I couldn't figure it out. I just decided to wait for my supervisor to get back so I spent the time cleaning my game. Soon my game had nothing else to clean so I went over to the merchandise store and called the games office to tell them that my game wasn't working. My supervisor finally came and spent ten minutes fixing my game. After that I swept the outside of my game over and over and just walked around in circles sweeping it because there was no one there. It was cloudy and looked like it was going to rain. Eventually people did come to go on Rattle Snake Rapids and I got some people to play my game. It then started raining really hard so I had some people sitting inside of my game to stay warm. I wasn't supposed to sit on the counter but there was barely anyone there so I just sat on there and cuddled my jumbo prize for the game for warmth because I was freezing. The rain went on for a long time. Crazy people kept on coming up to Rattle Snake Rapids to ride it even though they were already wet from the rain. The ride employees just let them go on over and over because there weren't a lot of people on the ride. When they came off the ride, they were dripping and freezing while it continued to rain. Some guys my age came and hung out with me for a while because they were bored and were games employees too and had the day off. I let them play for free since employees aren't allowed to play and they were bored. I didn't see how it could hurt since I didn't give them any prizes and they were cute. This one family came and had all five of them play five times so that each of them could get a prize. They spent $50. That's a lot for a little toy snake each. But I'm not complaining, the more my game makes the more I make. I worked there from 10:45 AM to 6 PM and I was freezing when I got home. It wasn't very fun.

On Wednesday night I had young womens at my camp director's house. We learned first aid and then played a really fun game that I would explain on here but I think everyone would get confused. We then roasted marshmallows and had s'mores. It was simply spiffing.

On Friday Mom left for a scrap booking thing and Dad went to work so us kids had the house to ourselves. It was pretty delightful and I did a lot. I played the piano, played basketball, watched "Ever After", exercised, read, played Guitar Hero, did my chores, and cooked dinner (quesadillas with applesauce). I was about to go and play night games with my friends but Ashley wanted to go to her friend's house so I stayed home and babysat for her. Aren't I a great sister? Dad came home after midnight and told me how he hit a huge deer on frontage road. He had swerved so the side of his car had hit it and the deer tipped over. I'm glad he didn't hit it head on. That would be bad.

Today we are babysitting Matthew (my cousin who is like 2 or something). He's so cute and Emma likes playing with him. Mom and Hannah made Magic Cookie Bars. It's simply delightful.

Last Days of School

Hello everyone. I know it's getting kinda late and I have to wake up early to help with Marjorie's yard for Stephanie's wedding, but I couldn't resist posting on my blog. It's been an excellent last couple of days. Besides, I want to wait for my Dad to get home because I have barely seen him and I want to give him a HUGE hug because his hugs are delightful. Anyway, I'll just start with last Wednesday which was simply spiffing.

Wednesday at my school was field day. I thought it would be some lame thing because everything schools do are lame because they try to be cheap and safe and spend money on books and pencils instead of stuff we really need like edible school lunches and fun activities. Well this field day was a surprise indeed. I went out there with the other 8th graders after 3rd period and met up with my friend Sammy. We went to a big blow up toy thing and did the obstacle course and raced each other. We then went down another big blow up toy thing that was a big blue slide and the student body officer person had a hose and was spraying people as they went down so it was like a giant water slide. It was marvelous. After we were nice and wet, she ditched me. I then just went over and hung with Sariah and Sydney Yang for a while and got popcorn and did the obstacle course thing more. After we ditched each other, I hung out with Rachael Damron. We went down the blue slide over and over again and got super wet, and every time we went down we would go over and hug my friend, Taylor, because he didn't want to get wet. He was pretty wet when we were done with him. So we did that over and over again and played water balloon volleyball and watched people get dunked in the dunking machine. They also had a big boxing blow up thing and one where you run forward as fast as you can and then these cords pull you back. They also had human Foosball and a ring toss game. It was spectacular. The food was also pretty good. They had popcorn and otter pops and cookies. There were also pie eating contests. I had a really good time and forgot to put on sunscreen. After we were out there for two hours, it was lunch time. We ate lunch outside and I got to listen to Rachael Damron talk about boys and say some not very nice things about them that I won't repeat on here. I didn't know she hated this one guy so much, considering last I heard she had a major crush on him (and probably still does while at the same time hating him). She's a drama queen but still pretty cool. It was a good field day. Afterwards I had to change into dryer clothes. I was so happy that I thought to bring extra clothes and underwear, but I unfortunately forgot to bring an extra tank top. Oops. That felt good. For the rest of the day, everyone was so exhausted. When I got home from piano, I slept for two and a half hours.

That night for mutual the mia maids combined with the teachers and played water games at the park and had a BBQ. The food was delectable. We played water volleyball and then started throwing water balloons at each other. The others went to play water baseball while Ethan and I played volleyball for a bit. It was pretty intense :] The water baseball was way fun and I just played on whatever team was up to bat. I had an awesome time.

The next day everyone was mad that they had to go to school because the 9th graders were off to Lagoon Day and we didn't do anything in most of our classes. I had a test in history, but otherwise I just read and finished a really good book and went outside with some girls during choir and talked. It was so annoying to be at school that day, it was a waste of a day.

Friday was the last day of school. I went and got my yearbook and had people sign it. They then rang a bell and told everyone to go to first period. No one payed attention and they just kept on signing and ignoring the administration. Finally they got really mad and made threats so we all sadly went to first period for fifteen minutes. Everyone kept on trying to escape but they were getting caught. When the bell rang they forced the 9th graders to go into the gym and the 7th and 8th graders to go into the cafeteria for yearbook signing. They were yelling at everyone because no one wanted to do it. They started pushing us in there but I was still in the hall because there wasn't enough room. Finally they told everyone in the hall to follow Officer Ackerson. I thought we were in trouble so I tried to escape but they made me follow him. He ended up just leading us through another door into the cafeteria. I got a lot of people to sign my yearbook and had a good time. They then let us go into the gym with the 9th graders to get yearbooks signed.

After doing that for a while, my friends and I ditched at about 10 AM. We went to Wal Mart where the employees were getting mad at us so we left. We went over to Albertson's for ten minutes while Ethan and Taylor Bigler got food at a Chinese place. We then went to Wendy's fast food restaurant and Ben Fisher, Sariah, Sydney Yang, and I got food there and had some of Taylor's food too. It was soooo good. After, we went to Game Stop and Blockbuster for a while. Next we went to Target and Dollar Tree and bought a bunch of really random stuff to play with. We went to RB's gas station to get root beer ice cream and then walked home around 1:30 PM. We got tired of walking so Ethan called his dad and he took us to Taylor's house. His house is huge, I'm super jealous. He has a super cute dog too. We watched The Office and played Monopoly which wasn't very fun. I've never finished a game of Monopoly and I think The Office is dumb. Sariah and Ethan were laughing really hard while I didn't get why it was so funny. I think it's a weird show and I do get why it's supposed to be funny, but I just don't think it is. It's a waste of TV time. Ashley and my parents feel the same way about it. I fell asleep at his house on the sofa for a while. I had been so hyper earlier and had had so much soda that I had just crashed. Mom then called and wanted to take me shopping. I agreed and left.

We got Ashley and me amazing underwear at Kohl's. We then went to Shade and got us each a swim suit. I wasn't sure which one to get because one was turquoise and one was a darkish blue and they were both cute so I sent pictures to my friends. I ended up getting the darkish blue. It's a tankini and I love it. I'm so glad it's not a one piece, I've been made fun of a lot for wearing it so now I refuse to. Afterwards, we went to Kohl's in Layton I think and got launderey for Stephanie :] When we were done paying for it, I said to Mom "Thank You!" I looked back and the store cashier was laughing. Mom made us go to craft stores while she got stuff for Stephanie's wedding which was horrible. I've had too many bad memories of spending hours in those terrible stores. I hate the look and smell of it, I don't get how people can stand working there. Ashley and I were bored so we got some candy and soda and started eating it and then gave the wrapper to Mom to pay for. After that we went to Marjorie's house for a while to hang out.

When we were done at Marjorie's, we got Wendy's for dinner and then watched a movie together and I fell asleep during the very end. Dang it, it was getting intense.

The next day I had to work at Lagoon. It was busier than usual which made me happy because I love busy. I worked from 9:45 AM to 5 PM. It kills because I have to stand most of the day and it really wears me out and makes my feet hurt. I was so happy though because I got my paycheck and it had my training bonus $$$ It was delightful.

I'm almost done with the Book of Mormon, but my ward's young women are going to start reading it today and try to finish it by the end of the summer. I guess I'm starting over again.

They were talking about how fun Youth Conference is going to be, and it was torture. I won't be there because of Stephanie's wedding. They were saying how on the first night they are going to have a camp fire and roast marshmallows and play night games and tell stories and have tons of fun. The next day they're going to hike through this creek and they said it's the most gorgeous sight ever and it's so amazing and they'll love it and they kept on going on about how awesome it's going to be while I was feeling even worse. It was a tough choice. Youth Conference or my close cousin's wedding? I can go to youth conference next year, but my cousin's wedding is only once (hopefully).

I'm really tired now and Dad still isn't home....anyway goodbye my dear readers!!

Bleeding on my Portrait while Singing at Church in a Video

Hello everyone! I made sure I had time tonight to write to my five readers before tomorrow so that I won't have a long post (hopefully). This past week has been so delightful that I didn't know what to do with myself.

I have art first period, and for the past month or so I've been working on mirror etching and a portrait of Emma. I turned in my portrait of her on Tuesday and got it back a couple days ago with an "A". I was very proud of myself. I couldn't quite make it look like her, there was just something that I wasn't capturing, but you can still tell it's her. Even Emma knew it was her when I brought it home. Here it is.

It's pretty cool because I've wanted to be an artist for a long time. I remember watching Stephanie drawing pictures while camping or whenever I was at her house and begging her to help me because I wanted to be as good as her. I can happily say that I'm on my way. I worked very hard on this.
I also did my mirror etching. I did the actual etching part when I put the chemical on the mirror on Thursday when there was just ten minutes left in class. I had to hurry because I got to miss second period and go to Boys' Chorus instead to practice singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" for our concert and assembly. When I was still wiping off the chemical, the bell rang. I didn't want to wait for the next day to finish so I started hurrying really fast to finish and got a nice guy in my class to help me. I was in such a hurry that while I was ripping the paper off the mirror, I accidentally jabbed my pinkie on my left hand. It didn't really hurt so I didn't think much of it. I finished my mirror and walked as fast as I could to my second period class (gym) because I had to do a softball skills test before I was allowed to go to Boys' Chorus. Here's the mirror. There's a sharp sign in the upper left corner but you can't really see it that well.

My pinkie started bleeding really bad and blood was running down my hand while I was going to gym. I ran outside and quickly threw the softballs at the hula hoop for my test then ran inside to record my score. My coach started freaking out and asking if I needed stitches and stuff. She gave me a bandaid that my friend so kindly put on.
I then went to choir. We practiced singing Bohemian Rhapsody a lot which sounded really good and then the boys practiced "She's Got a Way About Her" by Billy Joel and a guy named Talon Hatch did the solo. He has an amazing voice and all of the girls just melted when he started singing. I think everyone fell in love with him that day. He's really nice and funny, he's just the type of guy that everyone likes. While singing, I bled through my bandaid. It was gross.
The next day was my music assembly and choir concert. Both of them seemed to go on forever. I hate music assemblies. I like the music, but I hate sitting on those bleachers for more than an hour. During the choir concert, I had my mom record us singing Bohemian Rhapsody. Check out my earlier post for the video. I put it on youtube and facebook too. On facebook I tagged everyone I could think of and I got so many likes and comments. It was awesome. We sound so good, it was cool to hear. From where I was, I could only hear the sopranos and base. We are the best 8th grade choir in Utah.
On Saturday, Mike Fifer, Sariah, and Chandler England came over to film a video called "Oh My Gosh News". We did it the week before and had a shooting scene and a missing cat and weather. On Saturday we did a cooking show which we called "Days of our Kitchen." It was really funny. Right before they came over, I was helping Mom make oven apple pancakes. I was slicing apples and trying to take the apple core off of the twisty slicey peely thing. I yanked very hard and hit my middle finger on my right hand on the slicer part and it took a small chunk out of my finger. It started bleeding like crazy too. It bled through every single bandaid I put on and wouldn't stop. So during the cooking show I didn't really touch anything so I wouldn't get blood on it. But then I made some toast and I got blood on the bread. My friends told me to get stitches or put pressure on it. I put a lot of pressure on it but it just made it bleed more, and I can't really get stitches since the skin is just gone, it's not a cut, and it's not even big. I went through more than ten bandaids, and I'm not exaggerating. When I woke up the next morning, my bandaid was black from all of the dried blood and it was on my hands. Thank goodness it stopped bleeding.
On Sunday, I had some really good lessons. It was ward conference and the bishop spoke. A former bishop taught my Sunday School class and he did an extremely good job. The Stake Young Women Presidency taught combined Young Womens. I learned a lot and I loved it. That was a good Sunday.
Today we did a glazed tari exploration in math. Which means we ate glazed donuts. A tarus is something that is shaped like a donut. It was delectable.
That's been my exciting week, and this one's going to rock too because it's the last week of school!!!! Yay!! Bye everyone!
